Welcome to another layout share to my wedding scrapbook album! Today I would like to share this layout;
I made this layout inspired by a sketch over at Sketch~N~Scrap
The challenge Twistback Thursday Sketch #5 was the “The Great Outdoors”. I immediately thought of my wedding photos taken at the park. We had so much fun taking crazy and fun photos. That day, the weather was perfect for taking wedding photos too.
I like to share a little bit of story behind the photos in each my layout share. These series of pictures in the layout, honestly I don’t really remember what the conversation I had with my husband that I had such expressions. But I just found it too funny. Who would have a photo of the bride pouting?! I definitely need to scrapbook it. I think I vaguely remembered that my photographer asked us to talk about something funny so we can have more natural photos maybe, and most likely my husband would have teased me with something t-e-r-r-i-b-l-e like he always do. I am just kidding, we always tease each other for fun, hence I had a picture of me giggling crazily. Just loved the progression of the photos my photographer took.
Supplies used –
- Most of the papers from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Flea Market
- Paper used to diecut the flowers from Craft Smith Typecraft collection
- Crate paper Maggie Holmes Confetti Die
- Basic Grey Lemonade alphabet stickers
I like to mix paper collections from different manufacturers because I buy things here and there at different times. I usually pick a color scheme and find colors that match. For example, in this layout, I chose red/pink/green. I spray-misted my white background with lime green mist, so it would the whole layout would blend in better. I really like embellishing my layouts with just paper; it is a great way to use up some of the papers in my stash. Here are some close up photos of the embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting.
