Hello! A continuation of my cardmaking journey with Altenew classes, today I would like to share a card I made, inspired by the class “Celebration: Stencil Techniques”. In my card, I created the background with adding texture paste through a stencil. This has been my all time favourite technique whenever I feel that I want to be “artsy” .
Color combo: Mango Smoothie, Butter Bar (Hero Arts), Peach Perfect, Orange Soda (Hero Arts) Leaves: Green Hills (Hero Arts), Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades
First of all, I wanted some colour on my background, so I blended some Mountain Mist ink onto the card. I focused more onto the centre of the card. Then I took a triangle stencil and added a thin layer of texture paste randomly onto the card panel. Once its dry, I diecut the panel with a stitched rectangle die.
Then I stamped the flowers from the Altenew Garden Treasure set and the leaves from the Vintage Flowers set on a separate cardstock and fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiment (from the Beautiful Day stamp set) with Dark Chocolate ink, right in the middle of my background. Then I build my floral arrangement on top of it.
Again, I added fine line details with my metallic gel pens on the flowers for the extra shine. I think this technique is here to stay and also a good use of my gel pens!
That’s all for today! Thanks for stopping by and Happy crafting!
Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a card inspired by Sketch N Scrap card sketch #100. This is the sketch designed by Lisa:
I was just so inspired by the flowers so I had to make another floral themed card with my layering stamps. I created a clean and simple thank you card. I seemed to need ‘thank you cards’ more than anything so it’s good to keep a few in my stash.
I stamped the images and then cut them out with my scissors and adhered them onto the card. I did stamped the sentiment directly onto the peach textured cardstock.

This post will be my last post as part of the design team for Sketch N Scrap. It had been a wonderful journey being part of Sketch N Scrap. Thank you so much!
Hello everyone! I have a simple card to share with you today. Sometimes it’s just nice to make quick and easy cards, especially when there is a card sketch to spark off the inspiration for the card.
Today’s card sketch is designed by Heather on Sketch N Scrap:
Here is my card:
I think it can be an all occasion card. It is really quick and easy because I just took everything from my scrap stash. I probably spend the most time trying to tie that ribbon to the way I like it lol

Hello! Today I want to share two cards with you. The first card was inspired by Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #97 designed by Heather.
I created this card:
I embossed the background of the card panel with an embossing folder by Martha Stewart Crafts. It was meant for embossing metal but I used it to emboss paper and made it work with my Cuttlebug.
The flower was stamped from Altenew Majestic Bloom stamp set. I stamped a lot of these flowers from my previous project and had some leftover, so I made cards with it. So I guess it’s a good idea, to stamp a bunch of images and get them all ready when you need them for a project. Then I added the birthday sentiment also from Altenew, the Label Love stamp set. I added some metallic red thread behind the flower image for more interest and texture and finished it off with some clear sequins.
From the first card, I was inspired to create another card since I had another piece of flower image.
I created a wedding card with the flower image. The composition of this card is similar to the first card. I just love how both of these cards turned out. Maybe because they are in my favorite colors – pinks and reds! 🙂
