Celebrate – Clean and simple card

Hello everyone! Today I have another card to share. I took the class “Clean & Simple Boutique Cards” on Altenew Academy, where the class teaches how to create quick and simple cards that gives a ‘wow’ factor.

I was inspired by one of the tutorials where Jennifer Rzasa (the instructor) used metallic accents to create a luxury feel to the card.

Celebrate card with gold embossing

First, I blended some yellow ink (Mango Smoothie) onto the centre my card for some background colour. I stamped the flower from Altenew Garden Treasure using the outline stamp on pink vellum paper and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Then I stamped some leaves, the solid image stamp with green ink (Frayed Leaf). Then I heat embossed the outline stamp of the leaves with gold embossing powder. Then I added the sentiment ‘Celebrate’ (from Altenew Label Love stamp set) and heat embossed in gold as well.

After that. I fussy cut  the flowers and leaves and adhered it to my card. For the vellum flowers, I added foam tape on the ‘centre of the flower’ where it would be least obvious due to the embossing powder.

I just love the shine of this card. So simple and easy to make and can be used for any occasion. The hardest part was probably fussy cutting but it is something  I do enjoy doing when I make my cards.

A short post today sharing this card! Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!

XOXO (all occasion) card for Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #99

I think it can be an all occasion card.  It is really quick and easy because I just took everything from my scrap stash. I probably spend the most time trying to tie that ribbon to the way I like it lol

Hello everyone! Today I have a simple card to share with you. It’s inspired by a card sketch up on Sketch N Scrap for our 5th birthday bash crop  is that is still going on over at Facebook.

Here is my card:

Thank you card

I thought it would be fun to hand stitch the edge of the banner so I just poke holes with a paper piercer and use a peach embroidery floss  that matched my patterned paper. Then I diecut the sentiment using a similar peach textured cardstock as well. It was really quick and easy to make actually.

Thank you card
