Scrapbook Challenges: Sketch 473 – Masculine layout

Hello everyone! A Happy Monday to you! Today on Scrapbook Challenges is Sketch  473 on the blog.

March 7th Sketch 473

I created a simple masculine theme layout inspired by this sketch!

Dead of winter Scrapbook layout

Scrapping about these guys playing “Dead of winter” – they seemed to love it so much! It’s a really long game, they often take forever to finish playing it! They look like they are deep in thoughts strategizing for the big win! lol

I hoarded those journaling cards with coordinating transparencies from Basic Grey since forever. I finally decided to take them out to use. Instead of journaling, I added subtitles instead. I included some splatters with Walnut Ink Distress ink. I added a lot of water with the ink so it created a halo effect because of the thin patterned paper. That’s a pretty interesting effect!

Supplies: Cardstock: (brown) Craft Smith, (yellow) Recollections    Patterned Paper: My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found    Journaling Card: Basic Grey     Stickers: (glitter) Fancy Pants, October Afternoon    Ink: Walnut Ink Distress Ink     Punch: Star – Fiskars

I hope you will join us on Scrapbook Challenges. We would love to see what you have created! Hop over to Scrapbook Challenges for more design team inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy crafting!
