Gelli Print Fridays #4: Gelli prints gift boxes

Hello everyone! Happy American Thanksgiving! Hope you are spending a wonderful time with your family  this weekend and maybe having a blast with Black Friday shopping!

Christmas is coming – in 27 days actually! I decided to make some gift boxes for some Christmas treats ie chocolates to give away to some of my friends These boxes can most certainly be used for any occasions or be used for small presents!

I wanted to create the gift boxes by using unique patterned paper – gelli prints. There is such satisfaction from making your own paper. I found this tutorial by Pootles: Sam Donald. She creates the best gift boxes ever.

They are really cute! They are gift boxes that resembles a milk carton box and the lids can be taken off.

I decorated it with some ribbons and washi tape. I diecut some tags and stamped and heat embossed ‘Merry Christmas’ on the tags. I attached the tags with some clothes pegs.

Just a short post today – hope you will try making your own gift boxes this year! Thanks for stopping by and Happy crafting!
