The rainbow-colored card

Won’t bright colors brighten your day? Especially bright rainbow colors!

I have a card I made just to say hello to a friend!

waffle flower ink rainbow colored card

It is relatively quick to make;(it takes a little bit longer is due to cleaning the ink off the stamp! lol) I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with the shiny rainbow embossing powder. I masked off my sentiment with a post-it note. Then I stamped the arrow stamp multiple times using different colored inks. Then I painted the “your day” with watercolor pencils.

Such a bright and shiny card! Here is a close up picture: (it is quite hard to capture the rainbow shine from the heat embossed sentiment)waffle flower ink rainbow colored card

Supplies used:

  • Studio G Hampton Art: ” Just wanted to brighten your day” stamp
  • Hampton Art : Mod greetings
  • Waffle Flower Petal Point Ink – Spring & Summer Blend
  • Judikins Embossing Powder : Kaleidoscope
  • Prima Watercolor Pencils

I am entering this card to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything goes and Work It Wednesday May: Rainbow

Hope you can send a card to brighten someone’s day as well!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy crafting!
